Chanel Inimitable

This stuff SUCKS!!!!! It's CRAP and I still cant believe that I spend so many money on something so completely worthless. I dont care that almost everyone is talking about this stuff like there's no tomorrow.....And it probably does some good on some girls BUT it sucked on me. If I wanted to go so damn natural I would wear nothing at all. The brush is a 'new' type of brush, rubbery, needs some time to get used to when you're used to the normal synthethic hairy brushes. BUT that doesnt take away that this is so not worth your money. For four times less of the money that this stuff cost you can buy the Max Factor Masterpiece mascara and it does the same damn thing.
It's promiss: Long, Full lashes thanks to the new revolutionaire brush. Oh I forgot the 'curled' lashes it is suppose to give me......

I never was a fan of Chanel make-up and this mascara proved me right once again that I have to stay away from the stuff even though it's a nice package and has good reviews.
I'm not even going to give it a full page or anything, because its not even worth THAT!

The score on this Crappy stuff
  • Price: Hella expenisve
  • Packaging: Have to give it that...nice packaging, very luxurious
  • Waterproof: Yes
  • Smell: Nothing
  • Dries out fast: Goes a long way....About 2 months, I have to say, I didnt use it a lot tho....
  • Flaking: another thing to give, no flaking what so ever
  • Lenght/Volume/Curl: None of those
  • Goes off easily: Yes, just let your eyes tears and it will be all over your cheeks
  • Will buy again: Not even if it was the last mascara on earth

Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express

This mascara was just something I needed to have. The packaging is bright yellow with purple lettering, how wrong can you go right? But it's something you cant get around tho....
It claims to give: no clumps, 9 times more volume with just one go and it has a special formula with collagene. So my first impression when I saw the brush was DIORSHOW! The brush is kind of huge and if you're not used to this and didnt like the hige dior brush, dont even buy this, stay away from it. It's pretty much the same brush but the only difference is that the dior brush is maybe a tiny bit bigger.
The structure and smell of this is pretty nice, but as ever, dont trust anything they say in commercials. One go and that much volume as they claim it will give you is a damn lie. I needed at least 3 brushstrikes to get me some volume. It doesnt do a whole lot for the length, but if you want lenght you need to buy a lenghtening mascara right ;)

The smell is wonderfull, reminded me a bit of honey (?) but I wouldnt buy it again. Im not satisfied about the many times you need to apply this to get what you want. Im not satisfied about the staying on power as well. At first when you put this on it's gorgeous looking when you finally get what you wanted, but after a few hours it doesnt flake or anything, but it just seems to dissapear from the lashes. Maybe I'm the only person who has this problem, but it kind off sucks. When this stuff is dry its not hard and all, but applying another layer is pretty much impossible since it is going to clump like crazy....

Final score

  • Price: Pretty cheap
  • Packaging: Out there, bright yellow with purple...
  • Waterproof: Not seen this version yet
  • Smell: Sweet, reminder me off honey, not irritating to the eyes
  • Dries out fast: Dont know, dont have it that long, but looking at the structure probably not
  • Flaking: No, but seems to just dissapear after a few hours
  • Lenght/Volume/Curl: Volume and Curl, not much lenght
  • Goes off easily: No, needs some help
  • Will buy again: Probably not

Maybelline Sky High Curves

The Maybelline Sky High Curves has been discontinued where I live (holland) and that's pretty retarded if you ask me, because this was seriously my HG mascara. It was Dirt Cheap, worked my lashes like no other mascara has ever worked them before and never let me down. One day I went to the store...and it was gone....forever. The reason: Define-a-Lash by the same brand has pretty much replaced this wonderfull goodie for the woman with the wish for nice long lashes. I did a review on Define-a-Lash as well and trust me nothing in the world can compeed with the SHC by Maybelline.

Why do I love this so much? Pretty easy, It really really does lenghten the crap out of my lashes. I've tried many high end brands of mascara and many low end brands (it that how you call it?) and this was the best I have ever had. Use one layer: natural lenghtening. Use two layers: long full lashes. So it's not only dirt cheap and does what it's suppose to do, it actually is wearable at work (natural) or at night (two layer)

So the scores on this goodie

  • Price: Dirt Cheap

  • Packaging: Decent, Blue tube, nothing special

  • Waterproof: Yes, light blue version

  • Smell: Light, no perfume, just 'mascara'

  • Dries out fast: medium, if you close the tube well it can go on for about a month or so

  • Flaking: Normal version not, waterproof I dont know

  • Lenght/Volume/Curl: All 3, one layer is just lenght, two layers is both, gives a nice curl that lasts all day with only one layer

  • Goes off easily: With good remover it does

  • Will buy again: Would buy again if it wasnt discontinued

L'oreal Hydrafresh Normal/Combo Skin

I bought this stuff in a moment of curiousity and I'm glad I did. Normally I buy moisturizers by high end brands, no drugstore because I couldnt find anything oil-free and satisfying enough to stick to. I wanted to try something new and went for this. The description says its a gel-creme, hydrating, has no spf, not oil-free, nothing thats says its non-comedogenic or not.....
It does has vitamines and minerals, but hey even mascara has that crap these days, so I wasnt really impressed by just looking at the outside. The saleswoman told me it was non-greasy, soaks in really fast and does not clogg the pores, so just by her salesperson talk I went for it and bought this.

L'oreal and Lancome are owned by the same company, so this stuff is actually the cheap version of the Lancome Aqua fusion, the Aqua fusion did clogg my pores and took a damn look time to soak in completeley....so I wondered how this would turn out. But it's actually not so bad, it has no big promisses and it actually does what it says and a little bit more. I have never really tried a non-oil-free moisturizer, but since I'm getting older, my skin is and it needs a bit more than the teen moisturizers, or problem skin stuff that I have been using all these years. The L'oreal Hydrafresh is a keeper as long as I dont find anything thats better and non-oil-free.

So the final score on this stuff

  • Price: Pretty cheap
  • Packaging: Nothing special, if you ask me they need to put it in a pumpflacon or tube, more hygienic
  • SPF: No
  • Oil-free: No
  • Tinted: No
  • Smell: Really fresh, reminds me of summer
  • Structure: Gel
  • Usage: Apply to clean skin as much as needed to feel moistured
  • Soaks in quick: YES, really fast
  • Overall: Pretty good for the price and all, I was very surpised to see that this stuff didnt give me any pimples, clogged pores but it did give me a nice healthy glow and a really moistured feeling. It smells really nice, the only thing that can change to make it even more likeable in my opinion is to put it in a pumpflacon or tube. I'm not really into the jar thing
  • Will buy again: Yes

Clinique City Sheer Block

So this is going to be my first review, the city sheer block moisturizer spf 25 by Clinique.

Normally I really hate clinique stuff, it messes up my skin even though it claims to be hyper allergic blablabla....This stuff was really cheap on strawberrynet so I thought...just give it a try, if it sucks than I'll throw it away. I didnt really think much of it, I didnt had any expectations of this stuff or what so ever, so I was really amused when I found out that it did actually work!
In the beginning I didnt use it a lot, It was summer, bloody hot outside and everytime I used this it made my face feel really gross. So my first impressions werent that good. After a while it cooled down and I picked it up again and came to find out that for the fall/winter times this stuff is really really nice.

It didnt say anything about being tinted or anything, but to my surpise it was, or at least it looks 'tinted', so my first thought was DAMN.... I hate foundation and I didnt plan on using it anytime soon, but this stuff is really not foundation looking and really adapts to the skintone. You dont need much, if you use to much it kind of gets heavy on the skin and can make you look really damn old and ugly.

It does give a nice even skintone and even hides the blackheads a bit, so thats a plus, at least I think it is. Even reddish parts are evened out a bit.

It's oil-free and it gives me a nice matte face all day long. Perhaps I would be really hysteric about this stuff if it did something to really slim down pores or anything, but to bad, it doesnt....
I have to say that I dont use it on my cheeks, I get the feeling that for my cheeks its a bit to heavy feeling, maybe if you have a different skintype than I have it will work for you on the cheek area.

  • Price: cheap on strawberrynet
  • Packaging: decent, green tube with silver cap
  • Spf: Yes, spf 25 (!!!)
  • Oil-free: Yes
  • Tinted: Yes
  • Smell: funky, I know clinique is perfume free, but this smells a bit hospital like (does all clinique stuff smell hospital like???)
  • Structure: a bit thick, melts when it comes in contact with skinheat
  • Usage: apply to clean skin, not to much tho, it can feel heavy really quick
  • Soaks in quick: Medium, needs some time to soak in but is acceptable.
  • Overall: This stuff really surprised me, I didnt have any expectations and maybe that is the reason it surprised me...I dont know. I do know that since I found out this stuff did something good to my skintone I started using it every day. It really gives a nice healthy glow like hayden panetierre has. I used it a couple of times with light powder over it and that way (if you have pretty much a clear skin) you wont need a foundation or anything to cover up.
  • Will buy again: YES

One extra note on this, I was looking with my sister on the internet the other day for asian skincare products, since we are both half asian. And we found something called BB-cream...

Well this stuff reminds me of the BB-cream stuff I saw online, it has SPF, Oil-free and covers up quite good actually for something that didnt say anthing about doing that. So it's probably not as good as the BB-cream stuff, but it reminds me a lot of it and its cheaper!

Well, let me introduce

So I kind of started this blog because all of my friends ask me about what make-up they should be using, or what skincare and so on. I'm on some make-up websites and already reviewing a lot of products I have been using or have tried some day (trust me theres a lot of those...)
In a year I buy almost every mascara that comes in new in stores, I dont care if I already have the perfect one sitting at home, waiting for me to be used untill there's nothing left, I have to have all the new stuff, because....well you never know right ;)
Because of my mascara addiction and other useless skincare, make-up, haircare and bodycare I decided to put all of my findings in one place so that everyone who wants to read can do it on here.
I dont use a lot of make-up in everyday life, I'm not this girl who walks around with a full face of make-up everyday just to go to work, not that it's a bad thing to do so, but I'm just to damn lazy to fix everything every morning.
The stuff I use on everyday base is my mascara and my eye-brow stuff (depends on my mood if its a pencil, powder or cream)
Here's a list of everything I do and dont use....
  • Eyes: eyeshadow, eyecream, eyeliner, kohlpencil, mascara (a lot), eyeshadow base, loose powder, eyebrow stuff; powder, pencil, cream
  • Lips: lipstick, lipgloss, lipbalm
  • Face: Bronzer, blush, moisturizer, exfoiliator, masks, toner, serums Never: Foundation or powder, maybe sometimes, but just to create a special look
  • Nails: pollish and all the care stuff that's designed for the nails
  • Hair: mouse, serums, wax, sprays

Well....I have a lot of every product listed above and I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy more every week, or month. And I will be giving reviews from now on on the products I think are worth reviewing, If its possible to show results I will even take a picture to show you guys how its been doing its job.

If you dont care about someone elses experiences with different products than I'll just have to recommend you to piss off ;)

Off course not everything on here will be about make-up and skincare and all...that would be a bit boring, even for me....I'm from poland so maybe I will put a reciepe on here some day, I have a very cute little furry dog, so if I find something cute for doggs I will give you a head up about it as well.

So this was my 'short' introduction, I hope you are going to like my blog and keep reading :)
